starting the arm (week 4)

To figure out how to do the arm we had to came up with the right measurements of the tubes that we had to use. It couldn't be to heavy or else the robot would fall over because of the way of the extended arm. We came up with putting a 30 for the long arm and attaching a small hook in the end of a tube. We attached a motor to the arm so it could power it. All we have to do is program it and test it out.

Today Dylan, Adrian, and I have FINALLY learned how to code a robot. Thomas and i will try our luck once more at the tube challenge. We were unsuccessful last class but i'm confident that we will get it this time. Dylan and Adrian are trying to code they're robot for the tetrahedron challenge praying they get it this time. Coming off of thanksgiving break can be rough sometimes. To start the week off Thomas and I are going to start testing our code for the tube challenge. Adrian and Dylan are working on the code for the tetrahedron challenge. As a whole we're catching up on blogs and trying to knock these challenges out of the park.
