GEARed For Success (week 1)

Since our last post we haven't done much. We have however talked to some more experienced students and got some tips and tricks. Tip 1: You're first robot should be a clawbot. Squarebots, once you add a claw they become unbalanced. Tip 2: Follow the instructions. This one is pretty straight forward but they basically told us, "don't think you know what you're doing and try it by yourself". Tip 3: Don't be afraid to ask for help. Other students may come off as intimidating, especially if they're older than you, but they are willing to help you if you need and are super kind. Hopefully we can follow these tips and reach our goal of being able to add gears to our robot next week.

Today Dylan, Adrian, and I have FINALLY learned how to code a robot. Thomas and i will try our luck once more at the tube challenge. We were unsuccessful last class but i'm confident that we will get it this time. Dylan and Adrian are trying to code they're robot for the tetrahedron challenge praying they get it this time. Once they finish Thomas and I will help them with the tube challenge so that we are all on the same page. ``

Coming off of thanksgiving break can be rough sometimes. To start the week off Thomas and I are going to start testing our code for the tube challenge. Adrian and Dylan are working on the code for the tetrahedron challenge. As a whole we're catching up on blogs and trying to knock these challenges out of the park.
