#1.) Daniel- I'm 17 years old. I like to play games, sleep, and eat. I am Jamaican and Bahamian. When I graduate I will be a U.S. Air Force civil engineer.
Today Dylan, Adrian, and I have FINALLY learned how to code a robot. Thomas and i will try our luck once more at the tube challenge. We were unsuccessful last class but i'm confident that we will get it this time. Dylan and Adrian are trying to code they're robot for the tetrahedron challenge praying they get it this time. Once they finish Thomas and I will help them with the tube challenge so that we are all on the same page. ``
Our frames our complete including wheels, gear, and motors. Our next challenge will be driving them and getting them to do a figure 8. Our strategy is to take it step by step and take our time in order to make sure we don't mess up. By this I mean, when programming we will test our code every 3 to 4 lines to test for any errors.
We have learned how to print our own battery clips in the 3D printer. Printing it from the website makes it easier for us because it already comes with all the dimensions etc. We did it going to the vex website, downloading the part and converting it into an STL file into solid-works. After that we go into slicer making it an G code file and we print out the clips to hold our robots batteries. We made four battery clips in total.
